A city after dark, reduced to light and reflection. Deep blue and violet hold the night, while turquoise and gold break through like windows still lit and streets still wet from rain.
After Midnight is built in layers of acrylic, each one leaving something of the one beneath. It is not a portrait of one place, but of the feeling of a city when everyone else has gone home.
Painted in Oslo by Chris Gongor.
